The TuffRider Starter Helmet with Carbon Fiber Print Grill combines safety, comfort, and value in one sleek package. Designed as the sister to the TuffRider Carbon Fiber Print Helmet — ranked #2 Overall during the Virginia Tech helmet study — this helmet provides superior impact protection while keeping riders cool and comfortable.
The ABS matte outer shell offers durability and helps distribute impact forces, while the EPS inner layer reduces energy transfer to the rider’s head. Three strategically placed carbon fiber print ventilation slots provide airflow, and the detachable Coolmax liner wicks away sweat and is easy to wash. A precision dial-fit system, padded chin strap, and nylon-reinforced harness ensure a snug and safe fit.

How to Measure for the Best Fit:
Place a fabric tape measure around your head, ¾–1″ above your eyebrows.
Measure at the widest part of your head (over the bump at the back of your skull).
Record in centimeters, repeat 1–2 times to ensure consistency.
Round up if you’re between sizes, but ideally try both smaller and larger to find the best fit.
Wearing hair low in a ponytail (at the base of your neck) gives the most accurate measurement.
Do not measure over a hairnet.
The best and safest helmet is the one that fits you snugly and comfortably.
